Washington Baptist Chapter Members

MISSION

The main goal of the motorcycle ministry is to be intentionally evangelistic and to provide churches with a unique opportunity to allow more of their congregation to become involved in local community outreach and evangelism within the local motorcycle community.

The Carolina Faith Riders motorcycle ministry grew out of a desire to provide SCBC churches an additional resource of evangelism designed specifically for reaching the lost and unchurched motorcycle enthusiasts in their community. The CFR motorcycle ministry was developed in an effort to allow members of the local chapter who currently ride or who have a heart for motorcyclists to share their faith.

In the development of Carolina Faith Riders, our desire was to offer a ministry that is based in and accountable to the local church with the goal of reaching the local community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Carolina Faith Riders (CFR) has been designed to provide churches with the basic framework and guidelines needed to start a chapter while incorporating the flexibility for the church to mold and adapt their particular motorcycle ministry to best fit their church's and community's distinct personality.

Carolina Faith Riders (CFR) is available to any SCBC church regardless of geographic location, size of the church or number of members in a chapter.

There are no membership fees or dues associated with becoming a part of this ministry. We operate with members' offerings above their church tithes but do not requre fees or dues; we are not a motorcyle club...we are a ministry and operate under the laws and requirements as a 501(C)3 non-profit ministry registered in South Carolina, overseen by the Advisory Board and audited yearly. Our only requirement is that you love motorcycles, the people who ride them and have a heart for reaching people who do not know the message of Jesus' love and forgiveness.

If this unique ministry fits your plans as an additional avenue for evangelism in your church and community, please contact us at dmob@sc.rr.com or call 843-992-0836 for more information. We have chapter manuals for your review and we are available to discuss the details upon request.
